Several of us were waiting when the guy came from the back room. The shipment consisted of 2 boxes (not cases) of 12 ga....that was the entire "shipment".
And 12ga is some of the very little that's on the shelves any way...
thats funny seems here in florida all they have is 12 gauge on the shelves and .40 or .45 sometimes they get 8 or 9 boxes of 9mm thats all i look for

Cowboy 'Joe Biden' would be proud! Then again, he would prefer that you use a lesser gage such as a 20 or 410, since it is the noise that scares and protects you, not the ability to actually defend yourself.
A lot of money being made in the meantime...
I stopped by our Walmart last night and they had some 12 gage and 45. The 45 is the Federal 185 grain HP 20 rd box for $24. Expensive plinking ammo. The guy at the counter said they had received some .223 and 9 mm the night before, but it disappeared real quick. The sad thing is I almost stopped in the night they got that shipment. It is all about timing.
It's not getting better, it's getting worse. Went to Bass Pro last night to pick up my 9MM dies that finally arrived after a 2 month backorder. Cruised through the ammo to find not one single handgun round. That's right... not one handgun round. Even the oddball stuff like .454 and 500SW that have been hanging around were gone. I think people have begun buying whatever ammo is on the shelf in hopes of turning a buck on the secondary market.
Disgusted, I left the loaded ammo section and went to the reloading stuff to find no handgun bullets of any size, not one primer - even shotgun and no brass. There were a few jugs of assorted powder. It's starting to chap my rear end.
I had a great score yesterday. Bought about 500 rounds of cci wmr. 150 Winchester wmr high velocity. It was a good day lol.
Nothing to be had on our end of VA except shotgun and some oddball rifle rounds. I don't think our WM has received anything lately. On the other hand, if I owned a .17 they have ammo for it. Even found it online at several places.
