Speer Gold Dot 357 Magnum 158 Grain Stress test

I'm not sure how many folks actually carry these for SD, but I did follow up the bare gel test with a very heavy clothing stress test. Much different stress test performance than the 125 grain Gold Dot.

Do you have any other stress test, like for the HST, Rangers or PDX?

This was the test that started me down this stress test path. Pocket Guns and Gear: Speer Gold Dot Multi-Caliber Stress test

I'm sure I will get to HST and Ranger T as soon as the weather gets a bit more hospitable.

The .357 did good perhaps due to the high velocity it travels at.

So far that does seem to be the key point coming out of the stress tests. A lighter bullet moving fast seems less impacted by the stress barrier.
