With whats available in.380 acp it was going for 17-18 dollars for 25rds with a horandy JHP in the poly case, i dont shoot .380 but for SD ammo thats cheaper than my .45

But if it catches on and works as good as brass, competition would drive price down and i know for sure i wouldnt mind the weight reduction when i deploy with a full combat load.

I'd like to see what they look like before/after firing before I hang them out to dry.

don't buy it LOL I bought some to try in the wifes LCP, they had gold dots loaded in them, shot them into my gel and not one expanded, I don't think they are loaded with enough powder for fear of case rupture, also first shot ejected, fine along with the extractor and spring so needless to say Id stay away from it, I could not find the parts anywhere at the range, so had to order new ones, I have prob 45 rounds left LOL.. that I'll prob never use again ... not worth buying ...

^^ That. I won't buy steel- or alum-cased ammo for that reason.

Interesting, I am fairly sure you cannot reload though, so I would hope their is a great cost savings!

The cuts at the case mouth are kind of disconcerting- don't like they have the ability to hold the bullet in place with much authority.

Interesting idea, but as a dedicated reloader I must say...

    Screw that.
