Georgia Arms ammo has new .45 ammo

If anyone purchases ammo from them, they have a new offering in .45 acp. Its the 200 grain Jacket hardball ammo. I believe I was told me its the same price as the 200 grainer wad cutters.

They've had it for a while. I bought 1000 rounds of it from them a few months ago. Paid $105.00 per/500 rounds.

No problems with it, speed was about 900fps.

Is Georgia Arms the name of the dealer or of the ammo?

Georgia Arms is a manufacturer of new ammunition and reloaded ammo. They sell direct to the consumer. I have used their 10mm, 9mm and .38 special ammo quite a bit and find it to be very good. Some people have complained about their rifle ammo, but I have never used any so I can't address that. Artz lives a short drive from the company and uses it for just about everything he shoots. He will probably come back on this thread and provide more info.

I priced their ammo, with shipping and handling it was the same price as LGS or wal-mart less state tax.

So it is... but I'd rather buy from them due to they are one of us (gun culture family), you don't have to fight all that wally world traffic (well...I don't), and no evil eye and comments from the peanut gallery about doing something stupid with all that ammo that I just won't mention.
They have other do-dads you might want to get for your reloading, cleaning, or practice.
Plus...one thing you don't get at LGS or WALLY WORLD when you buy 500 or 1000 rounds, a nice green steel ammo can to carry it all .
