I was looking at some 357 mag SD loads when I ran across this....I have a few boxes fired some down range just to check and see how they would function in my G 23 ..they did...
IMHO a quality bonded projectile (from any of the major manufacturers) in .40 will do the job. My personal preference is the 180 gr variety. YMMV.

Ranger t series bonded is the same round from what the winchester rep said...
Half the price too.

I prefer PDX1 can't seem to find any in 180gr though, which is what I would really like to run. Did find a couple boxes of Ranger-T 180gr though. Hoping they're good as well. I like Winchester ammo though so it shouldn't be an issue.
When I carry .40, I carry pdx1 180 Gr. I haven't seen it is a store for a long while. I have 5 boxes though.
