I just purchased a Glock 23. What kind of ammo do you run through it for the range and for CCW? I'm especially interested in grain weights.
Thanks

I use the 180 grain Winchester Ranger T (RA40T).

for carry, speer gold dot 165 gr gdhp (duty ammo). for the range days, winchester ranger 165 gr fmj. i also carry this in my glock 27.
For the range 180 gr. Miwal reloads (yes some day it may blow-up), for CCW Federal Hydra-shocks (low flash, mild recoil). Its been a while since i tried the Ranger's, and I'll do so again, the older design(?) had a lot of muzzle flash. I like Blackhills, but the muzzle flash is huge - not what I want at night.
165g Speer Gold Dots.......

Hydra Shok for defense, for practice I have some gold dot reloads over Unique, not sure on grains used but can check if you would like.
