Hornady Critical Defense 357 Mag 125 gr FTX?

Is this round watered down? Judging by the specs on the box I am thinking not, 1500 fps @ muzzle is 357 mag full house load territory, right? Got this to shoot out of my virgin LCR357.

Sorry for this wasted post. I went online and it appears that this round has a lot of positive reviews. Still not quite sure if this load is considered a hot load?

If it really gets 1500 fps it is.

The old street load was 125 at 1450, and that was a 4 inch tube.

According to the Hornady website, the .357 magnum Critical Defense is 1500fps out of an 8" barrel and 1200fps out of a 2" barrel.

No, for .357 mag that is moving.

I don't have any fancy testing equipment, but my hand tells me I've touched off something pretty potent when I've used it!

This is the round I use for S/D in my SP101 2.25" barrel, it has more that a 38spl+P but they are easier on my hand and way quicker to get off the next shot, before these I was using Winchester 145gr STHP( man are those something to let loose in a snubby) but they we're to much for how quick i wanted to be back on target after firing ready for a follow up shot... I've also read where some people like the Golden Saber loading in the 125gr BJHP because its a " middle of the road" loading that is more user friendly out of a snub.
Around my area the critical defense and golden saber are easy to get but I chose critical defense because its $13 less a box which equates to more practice with the ammo I carry
