That's pretty high priced. You can order 1400 rounds from midway USA for $70 shipped.

I guess it all depends on what you're willing to pay to have it immediately.

Thanks for the heads up though.

It is always about the money. Always about what works also. What gun eats what type ammo better. Nothing worse than constant miss fires. Gets expensive also.

Some of the a/r 22's must take the higher quality 22lr rounds.

    But Midway doesn't have any.

I can sell you 1400 for $70.00 too .... place your order and I'll let you know when it's in.

Very interesting. Just a few hours ago I bought exactly the same ammo from my LGS for $29.99 plus tax.

Wow, it wasn't that long ago that 500 9mm or .40 would come in under that price.

At least gas is dropping a bit. I've been getting it at just under $3.00.

The price would be bad enough for good ammo, but Remington Thunderbolt is what the mathematicians would call the "least lower bound" of .22 ammo. Check in at RimfireCentral.com for some other opinions on this stuff... generally held in low regard.

How times have changed! I remember buying 50rd boxes Winchester Wildcats for .99 at our local Western Auto! My Dad used to purchase dynamite from the same place for his construction business! Of course no one locked their house or cars either!

I probably shouldn't say this, but Monday, the local WalMart had 525 round bricks of Federal .22 LR for $14.70

those are NOT higher quality 22lr rounds

    $80.00 for 500 rounds = $.16 ah round

On top of that jack price I'll bet they were apart of the recalled lot numbers too ! !

    Bass had 50-round boxes of these Plan-Jane RN-Lead things for $2.49 ech ( $.0498 a round ) last week

But come to think about it; that just might be their price come the year 2029 if lead-ammo is still usable
