witch ammo shoots best in Taurus PT 111 Pro I shoot Remington 115 ball ammo Mainly due
to its cheap. I need to get to the range more but don't have time .I would apprecite information from anyone owning one than I have .would like ideas on brand and bullet weight. Thanks Tom

I just got my PT-111 Pro and put through about 100 rounds of nice & cheap Winchester white box from walmart....which I love! It shot fine except mine needs a sight adjustment cause it shoots down and left. I put a few rounds of Corbon 115gr +P through it and had no problems. It was only about 10 rounds from a box I needed to get rid of. With the sights off and such a little amount I can't really say how good anything is.

You are going to have to buy and try.
I use Gold dots, hydro shocks and ranger ammo.
There is a lot of good h/p ammo on the market.
The fun part is you have to shoot it to find out what
works best for your firearm.

I have the newest version of the PT-111 and it eats WWB like kids eat candy. I tried some corbon and it just didnt feed quite smooth enough to make me feel secure with it, so i tried the ranger series and it works great. All guns have different appetites, you just have to try different types to see what you and the gun like the best. After enough rounds, you will feel the difference of good and real good feeding.

you are going to buy different brands and types to see which one shoots the best. what shoots good in one might not shoot good in the next. spend the money and have fun at the range.

WOW sounds like alot of people have this gun. I am getting one in the next week. If i cant get one locally Im going to buy one on gun broker. Nice to know there are other people out there with it and seem to like it.

I have the old pt-111. It shoots everything I feed it. I usually carry it with gold dot short barrel +p 124 grain or corbon +p 115 grain.

Thats what my pt111 did with 115 remingtons It shot down and to left.
Chances are down and left is not a sight or ammo issue.
It has been my experiance that 99.9% of low and left are do to flinching and trigger control.
Back to the subject at hand, read frankmako's post. The man gives good advise.
