Gun Is exactly the same Size, frame.
Differences. 19 is a 9mm This makes about a 9mm size hole going in. 9mm ammuntion=$12 for 100 @walmart
23 is a .40 aka 10mm Retarded This makes about a 10mm size hole going in. .40 S&W is $19 @walmart.
9mm Shoot almost 50% more ammuntion for the same price as a .40.
9mm less recoil then a .40 means a little easier to control, Slightly faster follow up shoots, but for bigger guys and gals this may not be an issue. But we are talking FRACTIONS not huge changes just like the Caliber. 9mm vs 10mm Retarded
Buy good HP's for defense will you notice a difference if you have to shoot at somebody probably not.

The only way to resolve it really is by you shooting each differn't gun and figuring out what you like. I'm not trying to sound mean or condissending (how do you spell condissending?) But the gun you use for PP or SD is something you have to make a determination on yourself. Can you control the gun? Can you hit what you are shooting at? Are there other factors which you may need to take in to consideration? Cost? 9mm IS cheaper to shoot than .40 or .45 thus getting you more range time, thus making you a better shooter (hopefully). Its not about hitting something. Its about hitting something important!!!
