What is odd is I have seen plenty of bulk 5.56/40 for pretty cheep ( not near that but close) but 38/357 forget about it ..

Plus this is steel case ammo ..

Wow! At only .26˘ per round you scored big time.
That's half the cost of what I've been finding around NE FL.

Is this an online purchase or LGS?

That is a truly good price, even for steel cased ammo.. Where did you get it?

Well, after thinking it over, I went back & got two more!

It's a local shop. Funny thing is, their .22LR and 7.62x51 is sky hi! $65 for a brick of .22 and about $1.80/rd for 7.62!!!

Sorry, fellows, but I think he was about out of them.

If anyone's close enough to actually consider going there (LC area in SW Louisiana), PM me and I'll check to see if/when he gets some more, and let you know where it is. I'm quite sure the place won't ship ammo anywhere.

    ...but it's not steel-cased - It's the real deal XM855 (brass).

Nice! Maybe one way 556 will be cheaper than 9mm.

I have been looking high and low for a brick of 22LR! I bought a couple bricks about 3 or 4 years ago for less than 20 bucks a piece. On line they are going for around 60-80 bucks PLUS shipping.....URG! I can find Winchester 9mm for around 15 bucks for 50 rounds...still way too high!

"They" will let you "have" your guns but make ammo nearly impossible to find or so expensive you cant buy it!

Another place that's got some pretty good prices for 5.56 is Tropgun.com

I just purchased a 600 round case of Federal 5.56 FMJ for $254.94 including shipping.
