Sorry... just prepper propaganda. There are plenty of .22's hitting the shelves but plenty more of use buying up everyone we can get our hands on!

.22 shortage... just a self fulfilling prophecy

Too funny, had a dream last night I was at Walmart and they had boxes of 22LR....I was paying for my 3 box limit when a man walked up with 3 cases of them...I said really, you are allowed to buy by the case and the clerk told me if I wanted to spend another $700 I could get 3 cases too....and it was russian ammo :) I passed, didn't want it that badly.

The good news is that the speculators will be the ones with no chair when it crashes, and it will crash, period.

Tulips or .22s. Makes no difference when it's driven by ego and emotion rather than market mechanics.

I can find lots of .22lr.. it's that .22wmr mags that are like unicorns

By the way, went to visit the in-laws in Central PA and stocked up on a bit:
1000 rds of asst 9mm FMJ plinkin stuff
100 rds of asst .410 5/6/8 shot.. finally found some highbrass 3" 6 shot, just in time
    80 rds of .22wmg
75 rds of 12 gauge highbrass for Spring Gobbler

.22lr was not in abundance but it was there

22 LR ain't gold or silver. Well, not Gold. Ask the Hunt brothers what happens when you try to "corner" the silver market.

    That's a nice stash!

I think if the SHTF, .22 would be like currency, as would anything else anyone wanted or needed.
