9mm 124 gr. federal hst expanded round covers a nickel. my choice for ccw. the 9mm ball round is just for a point of reference.

Yep, It's a joke. It clarifies it's expensive junk! All hype (from the company) and nothing to back it or the price. I can't believe that people actually buy this stuff for the company to even stay in business.
Thanks for that. They spend a lot of money on advertising, they are always the front couple of pages of most of my gun mags. Maybe that is why it costs so much. Kinda like stuff from Gale Banks!!
I think I will stay with my old Hydrashoks.
I'll pass....it doesn't look all that impressive to me to be honest. No better than Golddots, Hydrashocks, or Golden Sabers. And, since it is still a hollow point bullet design, it can still be plugged up with heavy clothing fibers. But, the Federal Expanding full metal jacket ammo will expand no matter what the bad guy is wearing.
Why pay what they are asking to get the same performance.
Dog gone it just spent the last 30 minutes exploring their site, and I was only going to do a quick check, Next time warn me before posting such a interesting web site.
Hmm, at $2.70 per round for my .45, that would mean my standard carry load would be almost 60 bucks worth of ammo I would be carrying, I think I'll stick with Winchester, where I can get a couple hundred training rounds and a box of carry stuff for that. Take a look at the Extreme Shock webpage http://www.extremeshockusa.com, it would appear that their marketing guys went overboard with their use of a Thesaurus, maximizing the effect of every word.

I'd read the tests over at The Box O' Truth before, but I never looked at the Extreme Shock website. It's a real hoot! I don't think I've ever seen a site so intent on appealing to the mall ninja crowd.
Oh man, did you make that round? What did you shoot it through, and can you make 'm for 9 mil?
It is simply a commercialy cast 148 gr. hollow base wadcutter, seated backwards over a small powder charge. Shot through 55 gal. drum. Negative on 9m/m. Even if they were sized to .355", they would not feed in semi auto, and case capacity is to small.
