I'm looking to add a few cases of 5.56 to my hoard. I'm considering PMC XTAC or surplus Bosnian green tip. They would be shot from mini-14's. Both of these cost .40 cents a round shipped. If your life depended on one of these rounds which would you choose?
I assume K, since you are comparing it to 62 grain M855 equivalent. Really, I can't imagine there is any real functional difference. Either one should be fine for what it is.
Not sure if I've ever run the Bosnian stuff, but the X-Tac 62gr ran about as well as LC M855 surplus I have shot...that is, it is decently accurate, and reliable.
I'd say, go with whatever you can get for less.
