Did you call the local PD to report the robbery?

Start saving your brass now, eventually you will get into reloading if your going to continue to practice. Great addition to an already good hobby. You can get everything you will need used on ebay.

That would have been a very nice down payment on a reloading kit!

My local Wally World never has much of anything, so I have been buying from Ammoseek when I find a good price. Just ordered 1000rnds of 9mm 115 FMJ, only spent 19.95 for shipping, and it comes to about $.23/rnd. Too bad they did not have the Federal HSt I wanted it, shipping would have been about the same.
I guess it might be time to start shopping other Wally Worlds for me

Buying a reloading setup is more expensive than you think, as I'm finding out the hard way.... It saves you lots of money, after you break even at 4000 rounds

$320/1000 rounds average WWB 9mm vs $160/1000 reloaded on your own but add $400 for a good reloading setup (hard to find a used one, even on gunbroker). 4000 new = $1300 vs 4000 reloads = $1150. I wish there was a emoticon here for money flying out of your wallet

    Prices I've found locally
    Powder $35/lb + tax
Small Pistol Primers $35/1000 + tax
    Brass Casings - free
    Bullets - $110-120/1000 (9mm 124gr or 0.40 180gr)
    Cost per 1000 = $200 with taxes

    Federal 9mm 100ct Walmart $28 +tax
    Walmart Winchester White Box 9mm 100ct $32 + tax
    Federal .40 100ct Walmart $32 + tax
    Walmart Winchester White Box 0.40 100ct $38 + tax

Remanufactured rounds (Georgia Arms, Freedom Munitions, LAX Ammo, etc)
    $320/1000 shipped (9mm or .40)

I am saving up so my wallet doesn't take so much of a beating when I have to dump $700 into reloading my first 2000 rounds.

    Best of luck to you!

I'm in the middle of 5 Wal-Mart's. All of them usually have the ammo I'm after for the range. I usually buy on the fly. Bulk purchases good into the stash.

.22 are extinct now aren't they. I haven't them for so long I forgot what they look like.

Just got 2 cases of 9mm 124 grain. Set me back about $670 with shipping. Cried because that was my G26 money stash. Shoot or buy a gun? What do you do?

I keep hearing of new production facilities being built. We will see if the hoarders can keep up with the new production.
