    Question Golden Saber, directional bullets?

Are the Golden Sabers a directional bullet, I donít doubt that out of a barrel twisting to the right or left, they will expand, but is one more effective than the other due to the overlap of the pedals. It looks like one pedal overlaps the one to itís left, so would a barrel with a left hand twist the GS more effectively than say a barrel with a right hand twist.

I have no doubt that any difference was to be found, it would be minute, and assured to be negligible.

But just wondered what you guys thought.

By the way, I shoot Gold Dots so Iím not betting anything on this, just curious.

I'm not aware of any data or tests that deal with that. Interesting question.

Hello. No, it has been shown that the direction of twist has no effect on the expansion of the Golden Saber. I'd read that somewhere in the past, but contacted Remington and was told the same thing.

    Best.

    Controversy

It was mentioned and tested in one of the Marshall and Sanow books. IIRC there was no difference in their tests. A good reference book no matter what you think of their methods.

I thought all bullets were directional.

You aim.. fire and they travel in that direction.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft!

Nooooo, if you spin 'em in the wrong direction .. they don't expand ....... they close up

    Sorry .. I couldn't resist.

    Flangeable Ammunition

At our shopwe sell a flangeable round that will not exit and is safe for use in the house/apartments. I have on several occasions used this round with good results. This round is my wife and my primary defense round. Should you miss and hit a wall it will not bounce of and injury an innocent bystander. It will not exit form the body like some rounds do. All energy is expended with in the body. Feel free to E-Mail if you have any questions. The other two rounds that I recommend is Speer Gold Dot and the Remington Golden Saber.

    Hope this helps realoperator 24/7
