You get what you pay for

If you buy bargain ammo of any brand, expect to get what you pay for. It can be dirty, it might have OAL issues, it might not be reliable. Use it wisely for practice ammo. The occasional jam might be good for training in that case, gives you malfunction practice I work at an indoor range and see a lot of ammo go downrange. I like the Blazer Brass stuff in .45ACP. I also shoot a lot of 10mm Blazer in my 610 revolver with no problems. I don't carry either for defense.

It's my favorite cheap practice ammo, never had a jam with it (.45acp). But it is dirty.

I use it for range ammo and haven't had any problems, I wouldn't use it for CCW, but great price for practice. 250 rds. of Blazer about $55 versus 250 rds. of CCI at $80.

Worked great for me in 9mm and 45acp but 10mm, forget it!

I've used it in 32 ACP, 38 Spl, 9mm, 40 cal, 357 Sig, and 45 and never had an issue with it. Since I dont reload I typically use it when I run out of the Winchester white box I buy in bulk at gunshows. Havent found a decent price for white box outside of the gunshows so I use and recommend Blazer for "training" only.

I used a lot of Blazer brass FMJ when I took my G30 to the range and never had a problem with it.

It's been at least 15+ years since I tried the CCI alum in a gun.

Don't know if the new stuff is better, but I have fired more rounds through my old trusty 9mm Taurus PT 92AF than any other weapon I've owned or have ever shot. This early model that I own has only ever malfunctioned twice, both stovepipes in CCI alum.

    Have never again used Blazers.

    cci blazer range report

I went to the range today and tried my new Ruger p90 45 cal and tried cci alum and monarch. Found out that the monarch is less punchy or snappy if you will. The accuracy is a lot better with the cci alum. I didnt have any malfunctions whatsoever with both ammos so thank you all for your great input.
