I think that any of the big names will do and I have just about all of them in various calibers: Gold Dots (45 and 44 Mag.), Golden Sabres (45, 40, and 9MM), Silvertips (9MM, 44 Mag. and 45), Corbons (38 and 9MM), Quickshoks (44 Mag.), Rangers (9MM), Black Talons (9MM, 40, and 9MM), Starfires (9MM) and Hydra Shoks (38). I feel comfortable with any of them.

Powerball, Hydrashoks, or Silvertips...if my weapon spits 'em out, I feel comfortable with them.

Mike, if the Ranger ammo has taken out hogs with good performance, why change? I stick with 200gn gold dots in a 44spcl because they work well on deer. Wouldn't mess with sucsess if I were you

Not necessarily looking to change, just new to CC and just looking for more options. I'm very comfortable with the Ranger ammo.

If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

    Corbon DPX 185gr +p for the .45

Speer Gold Dot 135gr +p Short Barrel for the .38

    Corbon DPX 90gr +p for the .380

Considering the Federal HST 230gr for the .45. Haven't had a chance to get my hands on some yet though.
