    Remington UMC prices???

Was just at Sportsman's Warehouse. Their price for Remingtion UMC 250 round bulk packs of JHP was $47.95$65.95, but .40 S&W was $65.95$47.95.

What's up with that??? The main reason to shoot 9mm is that it's cheap. Since when is .40 cheaper than 9mm??

    EDIT: Oops, got it backwards.

Hmmm... I've been thinking about it more, and the two stacks of ammo were right next to each other. Perhaps somebody mis-labeled them?

Go back to the store and stock up! That's my suggestion. UMC is just under $50/250 for 9mm around here, so you're probably right and they're just mislabeled.

I was talking to the guy that sold me my new XD9SC when I was getting the paperwork done. He said to get ammo before next week. He told me it was announced to dealers that ammo prices will be going up another 10-15% after that. Still a large shortage of lead, copper, zinc etc. He told me that ammo had gone up nearly 50% since January. Now, this guy has the cheapest prices in town from what I've seen. Speer Gold Dot HD 9mm was $23 for a box of 20, if I recall correctly. I looked down on a clearance shelf and saw Wolf 9mm Luger black box of 20 for get this $33!!!! You know prices are bad when Wolf ammo is that high.

    20 rounds of Wolf 9mm for $33? Someone's getting hosed... http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM420-3580-288.html

If, of course, you insist on shooting Wolf (bleh).

There is a Dunham's Sports by my house that sell UMC 9MM for $37 for 250 rounds. When they have that sale I am there. I usually buy blazers online for $7- $8 a box of 50.
