If you had to survive in the woods with just a 9mm Pistol, 4-5" barrel and 2 boxes of Ammo (your choice 115/124/147 gr.). 1 is FMJ and the other JHP which would you use to shoot say a 180 lb. buck, or other simmilar sized game?

You're kidding, right? Do you actually think the 9mm is a big game hunting cartridge?
Or is this just a semantic exercise?
To answer your question: None of the above.
If I had to "survive in the woods", I would be packing something much bigger than a 9mm pistol.

Not the point, of course. I'm assuming it's a hypothetical stranding in the wild, as would be the case during a driving trip through sparsely-populated areas. Here in Oregon, outside the towns it can be pretty rugged. It's not an unlikely thing to happen, as much of the entire state is off the beaten path, so to speak. You're kidding, right? Do you actually think the 9mm is a big game hunting cartridge?
My first thought was of the old quote from Monty Python's Holy Grail: "It's not a matter of where it grips it!."
If I were traveling and found myself stranded for a week or more with only with my carry weapon and 9mm ammo such that I found it necessary to hunt in order to survive, I'd want that 9mm round to be JHP and have performance exceeding ~ 1200 fps and 400 ft-lbs muzzle energy. My choice for carry ammo in the CZ P01 I carry: DoubleTap JHP 124gr +P.
If I were to spend much time in the wilds, I'd certainly find a different caliber for the in-the-wilds carry weapon, to solve exactly this dilemma.
That said, it goes without saying that any smaller handgun round isn't the first choice of ammo for taking mid-sized game animals beyond 30-40yds or so, given how tough they are, how quickly they move, the comparatively-poor aim of a handgun (vs a rifle), etc. Though, I'd think if penetration is above 14" or so, it should handle a ~200 lb four-legged target about as well as a two-legged one at those distances. Not the best choice, but if ambushed inside ~25yds or so, I think it would have a good chance of taking a smaller animal.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.
Thoughts: Justifiable self defense.

Not that I've ever tried it... But I'd think some FMJ may be the ticket - just to get the penetration required. Hot FMJ, maybe some of that subgun stuff that turns up from time to time.
I'd stick to my GD JHP's but - hope to ''manage'' with the 15+1 in the SIG ....... if one will not suffice then there are options for repeat medicine.
Preferably of course - yeah - only small critters!![]()

9mm can indeed take a deer as Mr. Camp describes in this link.

Probably not anyone's first choice, but the information you seek is probably there.
Edit: I realize that link is a 9mm vs .45 comparison, but he also talks about 9mm rounds that he took deer with, so the information is available, you just have to sift a little for it.

A good blind and quiet time can equate to a successful deer shot with a pistol...
When I did hunt in MI...the deer was never a long shot...a 9mm would have worked quite well...if it's a matter of survival, however, the parameters will change.
Stay armed...stay safe!

My relatives back in the East used to take deer with a .22LR, so, assuming you have sufficient skill, pretty much anything should work for your 9mm...
I have dispatched deer, hogs and horses with 9mm Ranger duty
issued ammo.
It works and quickly.
Shot placement is critical.
