Good Price? Rem 115gr HP Standard Pressure

    Hello,

The local Walmart is selling standard pressure 115gr Remington HP (not GS) in bulk packs of 100 for a little under $20.

Is this a good value for this ammunition? I'm trying to get stored up.

    Thanks,

    Josh <><

I buy them at my LGS and I pay around 10/11 bux for 50 so it's not too bad :) I don't think my walmart carries that brand, but they carry the Winchester Value Packs, which are $15.42 for 100. They are not JHP, but if it's just target ammo I would look for them.

We're definitely going to have to get some of that!!! Thanks for the info...

It's not target ammo - It would be a second string carry round in case my local supply of 124gr BGS +P dries up, but only until I could locate another 124gr premium carry round locally.

I don't have much experience with Remington other than for the Golden Saber line, thus the question. I truly have no idea if this stuff would serve better than ball if called upon to do so. I did carry the +P version of this once before, also as a stopgap measure.

    Thanks,

    Josh <><
