    How is the recoil? I never shot a snubby.
    Recoil is brisk: It's fairly powerful for a handgun, but very short in duration. It's not painful.

    I don't seem to be a good judge of recoil when it comes to others' perceptions as most other people think the 7.62x54R cartridge recoils a lot. I don't share that opinion, and enjoy getting thumped by a good slug gun.

    I was back on target very quickly after the shot.

    thanks for the test!

    I just picked up my Rossi today and a box of speer GDs!

    mine is the 2" blued .357 - but if it shoots at all like my old Taurus 650 CIA then .38+p is plenty...

    What about using it with a 4" barrel? Even better or no?
