About LinkBacksI found two boxes of .45ACP match ammo dated 1967. The question is: what should I do with it?
It probably works, so I could shoot. It's 40-year-old match ammo, so it could be collectible. Any ideas?

I found two boxes of .45ACP match ammo dated 1967. The question is: what should I do with it?
It probably works, so I could shoot. It's 40-year-old match ammo, so it could be collectible. Any ideas?
It might be collectible if the boxes are in good condition, that is, not damaged or stained, and if the cartridges are clean & bright, with no corrosion or discoloration.
You might take them to the next gunshow in your area, either to sell or trade.
Assuming the ammo has been properly stored for the last 40 years, it should be perfectly good to shoot.

If they are full boxes and the ammo is clean as mentioned they are collectible. If the box is not good or not full, or if the brass is dull looking shoot it. I was very impressed with the 1967 and 1972 that I was given.

shoot it up. i just shot two boxes of 1967, 230 gr ball 45 acp lake city match ammo this weekend. good shooting ammo. and the boxes were in good shape too.
