Looks like I'll be another guy using the 147g HSTs for my PM9. Are they usually cheaper than the Hydra-Shocks like in the links I posted?
Well my math says in 50 rd count boxes (LE marketed ammo is in 50count boxes as opposed to 20 civilian) I'm paying 46 cents a round including S&H. If you get the civi (hydro's)ammo you pay 18-20 bucks for 20rounds, that's 90 cent to $1.00 per round, and its not even the same round as the HST's.

It's a win win situation when getting the HST's. I get more rounds per box at a better price than the Hydro's and get a better performing round to boot.

Where can one get the 147 gr Fed HST preferbly LEO ammo? I never see them.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

I ordered 300rds myself last week. I'm thinking I should stock up and order more since I plan on using the same ammo for both range and carry duty.

    HTH

Edit: Ordered on 12/28/07, received today! Kudos to ammunitiontogo.com.

I just received a small order 200rd from Streichers at $21 a box.

    http://www.streichers.com/ProductDet...D&Prod=FC-9HST

I ordered Wed night and got them today. I picked up some Fed Power Shok 9 pellet 00 Buck for the home defense shotgun while I was there.

ETA: looks like I better bookmark AmmoToGo since I missed a little savings AND they have good prices on American Eagle 147grn that I like to run through my suppressed 9mm's.

I get 124 gr. at Gallenson's in Salt Lake City for $17.95/box of 50.
I have purchased 147 gr. too, but I can't remember the exact price. I think it was about the same though.

Can't beat that with a stick.
