    Speer GD question

Does anyone have the comparison in velocity and energy between the Speer GD .40 S&W 155 and 165 gr?

I imagine that it would be minimal.

    Thanks.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

Go here, then click on "Detail" for the cartridges you asked about. It will open a separate window with velocity & energy specs.

It is all here in thier ballistics tables.

    http://www.speer-ammo.com/ballistics/ammo.aspx

    165 gr velocity 1150 energy 484

    155 gr velocity 1200 energy 496

    barrel length 4 inches
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

Thank you both. I figured that it would be minimal. I would like to try to get my Dept to switch from the Fed Hydra Shok 165 gr to the Speer GD.
