    Where to purchase 10mm ammo?

I have searched in 3 different counties trying to find HD ammo. There is plenty of FMJ ammo to go around....$30 for 50 rds, but I want something for home defense and personal protection. Is there an online company that sells 10mm ammo?

For the 10mm lovers out there, what is your choice of protection?

I have approx 41 rds of good stuff and want to get more....

    Any advise?

Bud hit it with Georgia Arms. They use top quality components and load their own ammo.

It depends on where you are at in Washington. At Sportsman's Warehouse we carry one or two different 10mm defense loads. Hydrashocks and I think one other. I think there are 5 or 6 Washington stores now, look them up on the web. Plus we are about $22.00 for a box of target ammo.

    Cool

If it doesn't work out, try reloading.

The major manufacturers load close to 40S&W ballistics. Isn't worth it. Buy Georgia Arms or Double Tap ammo for real ammo.

    10mm ?

No one mentioned Buffalo Bore.....if Im remembering correctly, they have a 180gr HP and a 200gr FMJ .The 180gr was1350fps & 782fpe and the 200gr was 1200fps & 639fpe. Two of the hottest and most accurate rounds I've found that cycle reliably through my Pointman 7 . I've also shot countless rounds from Georgia Arms-I always liked the 155 with the gold dot HP.(Short story...I called them up to ask about the 155gr and he said they couldnt get any gold dots to load with...BUT he would load me up some 150XTP HP's... very close ballisticaly.....and they did ...about 2 or 3 hundred rounds and I had them inside 2 weeks) !Great small company-been there in person.
    Hope this helps,

Probably 155gr XTPs as Hornady offers 10mm XTPs in 155gr, 180gr, and 200gr weights.

These are good bullets. I handload them to 1400fps from a 4" 1911 and they work great. Coyotes hate them.

Buffalo Bore is alright. Similar performance to Double Tap but more expensive.

Great information. I'm checking them both out and seeing what my options are... I dont want to have to go with a .45, because I have 15 rd clips for the 10mm and dont wanna give them up....
