Which .45ACP ammo would you carry?
I spent today visiting some local gun shops and picked up a variety of .45ACP ammo with the anticipation of target practicing and wet pack testing them all. I plan on getting some Winchester T-Series (RA45T and RA45TP), but until I do get the T-Series and test all of the ammo, which would you carry? I'll probably end carrying the RA45TP's, but I won't get any of those until well into next year. What should I use until then?
Once I do the wetpack testing, I'll post pictures and result of all the ammo. For now, these are the stats on the box. Some don't include any info or even a bullet model or type, I just have what was immediately available or whatever I could find.

Travis - tho I don't carry my 220 much at all I did put thru some 185 GD's and found them excellent for function. Extrapolating my results with that bullet design in 9mm (my EDC 226) - which I carry - I find them pretty good.
I still have some 230 HydraShoks around and would put those in if need be but - I just happen to be a fan of Speer - the bullets behave very consistently for me in tests. That's my choice.

This has been done umpteen times already like in the last 3 months alone.
Run a query on 'Taurus' and 'Copper' or better yet just thumb backward through this area and the answers will be there via polls and very many specific posts with much in the way of informative product detail.

Battle Plan (n) - a list of things that aren't going to happen if you are attacked.
Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

I usually carry this also, but I do have some of the others.
I am not so concerned about 370 ft/# :vs: 405 ft#...as its use is probably going to be up close anyway...I don't think the BG will need a foot-pound meter to decide what to do...OMO

None of the above.
I carry Aguila IQ.
BTW, what are these polls supposed to prove?

Pick the one that works flawlessly in the gun and that you shoot best. ANY modern defense ammo will do it's job if you put it where it needs to go. If you miss with any of them they'll all be worthless. Ammo debates are pretty pointless hair splitting as long as we're talking modern ammo. If you don't think so ask a coroner!
If you stand up and be counted, from time to time you may get yourself knocked down. But remember this: A man flattened by an opponent can get up again. A man flattened by conformity stays down for good. ~ Thomas J. Watson, Jr.

Janq, I'm sorry for offending you. Before I posted this, I went back to July and couldn't find a thread that talks about more than 1-2 kinds of ammo at a time and none that try to compare this many types of rounds, and no polls on preference.
BikerRN, these will be shot from a S&W 4506 5" barrel.
ElCruiser, that what I plan on doing. But I won't have a chance to test fire any of these for at least another week or two. Maybe not until next year. Until then, I'm looking for suggestions.
Nuparadigm, the purpose of the poll is this:
If you had all of these kinds of ammo in your closet like I do, which would you load/carry?
Thanks to everyone that voted. So far I'm surprised that the standard Federal Premium Hydra-Shoks have double the votes of the "Law Enforcement" Tactical Hydra-Shoks.
