Taurus copper ammo?
Sounds like a DPX type clone. Or maybe it came first. I've never seen it in a store, but if I did I'd buy it. If they were offering DPX ammo for cheaper I'd be all over it for carry ammo.

I bought a box of those the other day in .45acp. They are the old Barnes style. I haven't fired them yet, but I can't wait to try. :)
They look just like the Magtech First Defense rounds. Will be looking forward to seeing what kind of results they yield when tested.
Hint, Hint, whenever someone shoots them post some pics.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

I plan on doing that. I bought a bunch of different .45acp rounds (listed in the .45acp poll) and plan on wetpack testing them all in the early spring. By then, I should have enough newspaper saved up, and my Federal HST's and Winchester Ranger T-Series should have arrived.
I've never even seen a box up here in my neck of the woods.

It is what I carry in mine. I bought a few boxes and have tested them out against the offerings from Cor-Bon before choosing which I would trust with my life. Less expensive too.
Sorry I havn't responded. I had back surgery Wednesday, so time sitting at the computer wil be sporadic at best. So you like them better than CorBon? What's expansion like?
If memory serves me, Taurus copper bullets came out a few years before DPX or the Magtech variant. I've only seen them in .45 ACP. I'm not sure if they had any other calibers or not.
