Where is your comfort level of ammo for CC? I know with me I would not carry anything less then a 9mm for self defense. Normally I carry a .45, but if I had to I would go as low as a 9mm. What caliber would you not go below while you are carrying?

I voted .32 - I don't even have a .32, but if I did and it was all I could carry for some awful reason - and I had more than one - I'd be okay with that. Naturally I prefer my .45 though.

I don't own a firearm smaller than my Kel-Tec P3AT, so .380 would be my bare minimum caliber. With that said, a .22 is better than nothing.

I voted .45 as that's all I usually carry...but the minimum would actually be .380!

I said 9, but with more than 1 shot, I would feel just fine with a .22
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.

.22 of course... better that than nothing at all. I carry .45 ACP + 9mm Luger because I can, if I couldn't, I'd carry the next largest caliber I was able.

.380 ACP is minimum, I prefer at least 9mm or 38 spl

Lord, Grant me a good sword and no need to use it.
Although I currently have nothing under 9mm in the arsenal, I'd be willing to go down to the .380. Thing is--------it's better to have a little bit of something, than have a whole lot of nothing.
Nobody loves the poor ol' .25 ACP. I shoulda voted for it.
While I wouldn't want to be stuck with either one I really would prefer the .25 over the .22 rimfire if comparing both in the very tiny vest pocket pistols with short barrels. I'm sure the .22 Long Rifle whips the .25 in longer barrels. The .25's I've owned always fed and functioned flawlessly and any of several tiny .22 rimfire pistols were guilty of the occasional hang up.
The Kel Tec P3AT in .380 looks like a much better bet.
+ 1 to Ram Rod. I 100% agree.
I voted for .38. I unserstand the concept that it is better to have a .22 than nothing. But there are some many handguns out there that are not much bigger than a .22 that are chambered for .38 and 9mm. I own a Beretta in .22 and a Keltec in .380. But I would not carry them as primarys.
Most of the time I carry .40 S&W.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
Still can't believe what happened on 11/06/12! Disgusted and disappointed!
.38 Spl or 9mm. MAYBE down to .380 if you just had no other option. I carry a G19 w/ Gold Dot +P and think it is enough gun but anything less just isn't my cup of tea. The right tools for the right job.
.32 H&R Magnum or .380 is minimum.
Nothin less than a 38 +p
