Thumbs up 1962 Military Match Ammo!

Neat Item! I wonder what that is worth?
That's the first time I've ever seen a box like that.

My dad has a full box of the Super Vel in .38 super. The ammo is still in perfect shape. Sorry no digital camera so no picture.

I used to shoot Super Vel quite a bit when I had my Colt Diamondback .38 and they were hot. Somewhere around here I probably have a few rounds (not boxes) stashed. I really did like it and have wondered why it faded away....

I have 3 rounds of 45 left. I bought my Combat Commander in Mar of 1972 and a box of super Vel to go with it. I still have the box stock commander also.

You're gonna choke on this one: When my best buddy's dad died, he gave me nearly 400 rds of 45ACP Super-Vel in those same original yellow boxes as shown above. I shot a few, maybe a half a box. Some had misfires (primer problems) so I don't shoot them anymore. Still got 'em though.

    Hold onto them.
I just noticed in my box yesterday...extremely tiny little nodes of medium brown corrosion around the circumference of some of the primers. I would not trust mine for self~defense. Too old.
