Frangible ammo for CQC shooting?
As some of you might have already read, I will have my own shooitng range in my back yard in about 6 weeks. :danceban: My concern now is ammo.
For longer distance, regular .45 ammo will suffice. But what about close quarters shooting at steel plates withing 4 or 5 feet?
I have been doing some reading about "frangible" ammo, as it disintegrates upon impact on hard objects such as steel plates.
Am I right in thinking this is the right kind of ammo to use, or is there something else that will work but is cheaper. I have noticed frangible=expensive.
Or is that just to unsafe a range to shoot at anyway?
Thanks guys/gals! :bier:
