I have both full size and compact M&P .357 sig pistols. I love the flat trajectory of the round, it's speed and energy. It to me is the premier defensive caliber today. I carry mine with DPX in the summer and Pow'r ball in the winter.

We interupt your regularly scheduled program to bring you this important service announcement.

I carry mine with DPX in the summer and Pow'r ball in the winter.
Why not just carry the DPX all year? What is different about winter that you carry Pow'rball then and not in the summer?

I'm not picking on you, or trying to hijack the thread, but it seems to me that during winter you would want a deeper penetrating bullet due to people wearing more clothing at that time. Personally I don't switch rounds between winter and summer, and wouldn't unless I "summered" in New Jersey where hollow points are illegal to carry.

I carry the DPX in some of my guns all year long. I'm a fan of the hollowpoint that gets good penetration. It just depends on the gun what I carry.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Is there a pistol that can shoot 9mm, .357 sig, and .40, just by switching the barrels and mags? sorry about this question being kinda off topic, but i really would like to get a .357 sig, but with ammo prices i would like to be able to use 9mm and possibly .40.
    Thanks

I heard a salesman tell a guy I was standing next to at the gun show yesterday that the Sig 250 will do that...

But I was in the middle of buying a rifle receiver and I wasn't paying TOO much attention.

Any SIG fans around that can confirm?

nope. no need for a dif glock for each cal.
    just a barrel.

40 & 357sig both fit into the same mag so there are no need to buy new mags either.
