If you have a mold, you could cast your own, using and oxy-acetylene torch to melt the silver...Might not be real efficient if you need a lot of them. (make a mold using a regular bullet?)

Maybe you could just electro plate a copper jacketed one? Or do your werewolves require solid silver?

    Edit to add:

Now I'm wondering if silver bullet might be too hard a metal, and thus tear up the rifling in the barrel, and possibly even create really high pressures?

I would be concerned about the bullet weight..........but not as much as the werewolves. Maybe do a google search and look for LONG RANGER BULLET COMPANY.

    Silly people...

The only werewolves that require a silver bullet are Loup-garou; and that silver needs to be inherited silver. You would need to look to a ring, necklace or the tea set for raw material.

Hexenwulfs & Lycanthropes can be killed by ordinary weapons...not easily, but still, a few people firing BAR's & followed up by a flamethrower should work nicely.

Out of curiosity, why are you asking about silver bullets? Is their some issues we need to be aware of that ordinary silvertip isn't sufficing for?

Not that it matters, but it may be easier, if somewhat more expensive, to make silver buckshot than silver bullets.

If dealing with anything that requires "special ammo", more, and more powerful, has got to be better.

According to the hunters in Monster Hunter International, if your idea is to use silver as self-defense round against Creatures of The Night, you are equally served by using silver in a regular lead bullet but using the CorBon Pow'RBall design. Instead of the Polymer Cap Call, substitute it with a silver ball. It will save on silver and will have the same results as a full silver bullet with the proven ballistics of your standard ammo.
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.
