    .327 low recoil ammo

Passed through the LGS today and the counter guy told me that they just got in a low recoil rnd for the .327 mag. It is a 85 grain hydra shok. I bought a box and when the rain stopped I slipped out to try them. They shoot to about the same spot all the other rnds for that SP-101 shoot; however, the recoil was not much less than the 100 gr rnd. Velocity is less as is energy level; 1400/1500 & 370/500.

Boy this caliber is really peaking my interest. I am waiting for one of the big gun manufacturers to produce a lightweight, quality six shot snub nose revolver so I could pocket carry the thing. Something like a S&W 642 in .327 magnum, six round capacity, would just be the Jim Dandy I am looking for.

I'd like to see the same frame as the 627 used for the .327 mag. round with 9 or 10 rounds. I think THAT'D be some real fire power.

I hadn't thought of that. Cool!
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.
