What kind of ammo do the BGs use?

We talk a lot about the ammo we use for defensive carry, but when you see a video of a BG robbing a store, what are they using?

I suspect, since they probably actually have to buy that stuff and they are trying to get away as cheaply as possible that it is straight ball ammunition.

They probably are using the ammo that was in the gun when they stole it. Why would a criminal buy anything? Unless they bought it on the black market which would mean that it was most likely stolen at some point.

In my experience and as a general statement 90% of the bg I have been around had junk guns i.e. bryco,ghetto glocks,etc... and "dirty" junk ammo and by dirty I mean really unclean with dirt,hair,etc stcking to it.

Now for the other 10% I have seen were very well armed with glock or other quality weapons of this general type loaded with up to date ammo. I have also found that BG seem like ak,sks type weapons....cheap but effective ?

Worst pistol I have found on a BG was a Five-seveN with the correct ss190 ammo ! Dude was a bmx bike meth head type scum and had got the gun on a meth trade ! Gun was NOT stolen at least it never came up as stolen.

Soft Armor is also a common item to find with this "10%" group.Outdated most of the time or stolen but still effective for the most part.
