im not trying to bore u guys with poll after poll, i just playing around with different ammo and seeing what shots best out of my CCW and then polling to see what u guys like best out of the ones i have liked and why. thanks for all the input
I like the Golden Saber ammo. Several of the local sheriff officers like it as well. I'll be using it all the time once the Speer 124gr +P GDHP is gone. I would go for the Hydra-shok also if the Remington was unavailable.
Ranger Talon.
For 9mm, I'll take the lightest, fastest round...that's just me. My vote is for the 124 +p+, and that's only because you took 115 off the list.
If I'm shooting at steel plates, I'll take the 147 gn. Reborn and Ridgeline already taught me that lesson.
I only use Federal HS in both the .45 and 9mm guns (P220 and P239), never had any reliability issues and found them to be controllable and accurate... I use FMJ in the .32acp though (Kel Tec P32).
My choice wasn't listed in the poll. I chose for off duty carry (glock 19) the Remington Golden Saber 124+p bonded.
From what Ive seen the Corbon have jacket separation all too often.
The 147's are too heavy for shorter barrel carry pistols (<5in)
Still have not seen or heard anything negative aout the HST's. Sliced bread! :yup:
Mine wasn't listed - Federal HST 124g +P
PowRball for me
Federal 124 Grain +P EFMJ is my vote
147grain I'm still not sure why you need to run a cartridge designed for subguns in a pistol.
I use to carry the Hydra Shok, but I’ve changed to the Winchester T 127 +P+
my vote is for corbon...that is a great company, and great customer service.
Whatever is from a major manufacturere that comes in 50 round boxes, shoots in my gun reliably to point of aim that meets FBI & IWBA criteria.
I'm pretty open with my ammo criteria.
