    I changed my mind.

After reading the Box O Truth, I'm ordering some HST - "newer" technology.

Right now I carry 180 Gr Gold Dots in my 40. If I get a 9mm which I'm thinging about, the HST will be the first one I order and try.

230 gr HST for the .45
102 gr Golden Saber for the 380 (only because they do make HST in 380)
Used to use Golden Sabers. Extremely disappointed with the Rangers. HST out performs both they are best performing round I have ever seen with consistent penetration, expansion no matter what they are shot through or into. Reliable and accurate out of my XD. Golden Sabers are a good solid second choice. Rangers...... I hope its what the BG use

Had been using either either Cor Bon or Gold Dots in my Sig P-229. Shot Federal HST in 155gr. this past week end and really liked them. Everything "just felt better" (maybe there was a little Zen action going on there). They cycled good and, as with the gun, are far more accurae than the shooter.

Federal LE HST. Based on what I read and through personal experience it expands the best, rarely separates and has good penetration. As far as weight is concerned, I like 165gr..

    Guess!

I greatly prefer Elite Ammunition West (as you might guess)!

It is loaded more precicely than "off the shelf" brands that we've pulled down.

Further, any available bullet can be manufactured as factory new or remanufactured at a lower price than off the shelf ammo.

Many customers like to send in their own brass (they know where it's been) for remanufacturing, and receive a "Brass Deduct" from the order price.

Sorry if this looks like advertising. I'm just answering the question. I'm waiting for an ad slot to be available.

I like the 155 grain JHP Winchester Rangers and carry only those.
