Are you talking about the Remington UMC in the 250 round bulk packs? I've shot both WWB and UMC bulk buys from Wally World of course. In my opinion, the UMC is a bit cleaner. I usually shoot at least 100 rounds in a range visit for what it's worth. I made a Wally World ammo purchase this week....they now have Federal .223 in 100 round value packs $39.78 here. All in all, this was my total purchase for $70

For practice ammo, it's hard to beat CCI Blazer ammo in a handgun, based on cost. CCI Blazer always is the cheapest when I make a WalMart run.

I can't tell the difference. One might be a little "cleaner," but cleaning takes the same amount of time. I buy what is cheapest, usually Rem UMC.

CCI Blazer... tends to be cheaper than either of the listed choices and the time it takes to clean is pretty much the same.

I buy Winchester 230gr FMJ rounds for my 45 ACP and never once had a problem with it and it is by far the lowest price for target ammo so I have no reason to change. The rounds at Walmart are 100 rounds for $29.92, can't find anyone else to touch that price.

Looks like I'll try the 250 pack of UMC. Thanks!

I'll go all three ways, WWB, UMC's, and CCI's......whichever cheapest and Wally-World has in stock.

As far as dirty, cleaning is cleaning and it's something that's done regardless. I don't worry about how "clean" a round shoots at the range.
