Winchester SXZ water jug shooting test.

I bought a couple of boxes of these a few weeks ago and since I have not been able to find much info as far as penetration or expansion I thought I would try the gallon jug shooting test. I shot this bullet thru 2 full gallon jugs and it did not exit the third jug, the expansion looks pretty good to me. I can now carry them with some faith as to their performance.

I've read that they are exactly the same as SXT with just the Lubalox coating. Expansion seems to be the same as SXT shown on this site:

I picked up a 50 ct. box of SXZ in .45 for $25, while SXT goes for a bit over $20 for only a 20 ct. box. I dont know about you guys but .50cents a round > $1 a round

I have heard that they are the same bullet as the WWB but I'm not 100% sure that it is. By the looks of the expansion, if they open up consistantly like that, no doubt they will get the job done.

Looking at the bullet, I don't think it's the WWB "Personal Defense" HP or the Silvertip.

It looks more like a Lubaloxed SXT.
