What's the difference between these two. I've seen them mentioned all over this forum but never really knew the difference, so could someone enlighten me?
Thanks

This should tell you most of what you'd want to know.
Firearms - .45GAP vs .45ACP by MarkFreburg

To answer your question: The biggest difference is the cost to shoot it. Ballistically they are almost identical.
I assume they're not interchangeable.
Not interchangeable, although you can get them into moon clips and into a 625 revolver. I didn't shoot them, though. If ammo sales and our range rentals are any indication, it's a dead caliber. We get more call for .41 magnum and 10mm than for .45GAP
New York State Police just went to .45GAP.
I believe PA state police went to it, too. Anybody know of any local agencies using the GAP?
GAP performs similarly to standard ACP performance. "+P" ACP performs better than GAP.
If the SHTF, think it'll be easier to find GAP or ACP ammo??? That's why I'd choose ACP over GAP. Or .40/9mm over .355 Sig/10mm.
