.357 Sig 140 GR. FMJ Sellier & Bellot

For .357 Sig, 125 GR. SXT Winchester Ranger continue to be my carry / SD round. For practice I use 125 GR. FMJ Winchester. Has a very similar feel to the rangers.

With my Glock 31 I have also shot: 125 GR FMJ Remington UMC, 125 GR. FMJ American Eagle, and 125 GR. TMJ CF Speer Lawman. Only thing special to note from this list is that the Speer were very clean and the rest were very dirt IMO compared to the Winchester.

I was at Cabela's a few weeks back and they had a sale on Sellier & Bellot ammo. I picked up a box of the .357 Sig 140 GR. FMJ Sellier & Bellot. I love this round.

For SD, I would still stack the first 5 shots or so with 125 GR. SXT Winchester Ranger. However for penetration, and just feel, I really like the 140 GR. FMJ Sellier & Bellot.

I've been told the load is a little hotter, and unless it is just in the mind, they did feel a bit more solid.

So if you are a .357 Sig lover, consider trying a box of the Sellier & Bellot.

Just wondering, am I the only .357 Sig fan (on this forum) who has used the .357 Sig 140 GR. FMJ Sellier & Bellot?

If you like a heavier round in .357 Sig, and I do, check out Double Tap's 147gr hot loads. They offer them in a FMJ. I carry their 147gr Gold Dot JHP's daily. Quite an impressive load! My chrony put them out of a G32 at just over 1400fps and a power factor of 206. This is one impressive load!
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
