Just Getting Up Off the Floor...

    My wife sometimes surprises me.
She has been listening to news reports of potential ammo inflation/taxes...

Like some wives, she has her gun, but doesn't always carry, she is more cognizant of her surroundings, and she does know the importance of us having a weapon with us all the time...and it's usually just me.

When I came home from work today, she commented to me that I should probably think about buying some additional ammo...she has no idea how much I even have....

So being the obedient husband that I am, I immediately went up to the gun shop and picked up 4K rounds of .45, and 4K rounds of 9mm...to add to my pre-Jan 20 buying spree.

It's never going to be any cheaper, and I had to turn the wallet inside out to grab what I got tonight. Ammo is flying off the shelves around here.

Who knows, maybe .45 rounds might trade like money in a year or two?

Stay armed...buy ammo if you can...stay safe!

I trade ammo sometimes. "Currency of the future", I say. I need to get some more primers and powder, along with carbide 10mm dies.

My god man, no wonder everyone is running out of ammo. You're buying it all.

    Likewise !!!
    I am stocking up !

It's sad that we have to do this ...
The first rule of a gunfight: "Don't be there !"
The second rule: "Bring enough gun"

I just cast about 2000 45 cal. bullets to load and planning on doing the same with 9mm and 40 in the next few days

Hhhhmmmmmm. Interesting. Wal Mart still has plenty of ammo. Good to know we have a Remington ammo factory in the state. Maybe Arkies are just too slow to catch on to the current craze?

Midway arrived today. Pot & molds for 9 & 38 spcl.
I need to get a couple of more items and figure out how to melt a big 35 Lbs chunk of lead. And if my calculations are not too off the chart, I have enough lead for almost 10K bullets

I doubt it. Everybody I know has enough stock to arm a third world country. Most of us started back when Bubba Clinton was in office.
We are AHEAD of the curve, not behind it.

I need to do some stocking up myself. Doggone it, it use to be so simple, although expensive in these later days.

Will you be kicking yourself if next year the current price is doubled? It's certainly never going to be any cheaper. If one is planning a course in the near future, a 1000 rounds could be used up in just a few days.
