+1 on the reduced fatigue life from frequent magazine loading

Creep is an Engineering term to describe the slow migration of material over a long time and is accelerated with pressure and temperature. They used to think that creep was what caused old glass window panes to be thicker at the bottom. Creep more accurately describes the permanent set forming in the mag spring (and the feeling I get when I look at Rob72's avatar).
