For you HST lovers, like myself, it is back in stock at Ammunition to Go in the 50 round boxes for $25.00 per box. I added two boxes to my order

Thanks for the info...500 rounds on order. I've read rumors that Federal is sending memos to all ammo suppliers NOT to sell HSTs to us lowly civilians...so I decided to stock up

I am not insinuating you as a liar, but I refuse to believe those rumors. I too have heard similar but I believe Federal would sell these to anyone willing to buy. They arent illegal so I see no reason they would try to keep them off the civilian market. However, I do believe they would try a stunt where civilian sales would be in the 20 round boxes at a cost of about $40 per box.

Thanks for the info, placed an order. Some stores refuse to sell it to walkins who are not LE.

Thanks. Up to now I've used Win Ranger T's and Speer GDs. Now I just purchased 4 boxes of Fed. Just stocking up and "spreading the wealth".

Already I've seen some charging close to $50. for a box of 50.
I'm thinking 200 will be enough for me since I'll be using them only to verify reliable operation in a pistol and for SD.

Thats the way I do it too. I save up till I have about 500 rounds of HST then I run one full box or maybe two just to prove reliability.

Minimum shipping seems to be about $12.00 to Florida, but if you order more ammo the shipping remains the same until you reach another weight/size ratio on the package. It cost me the same amount to order 4 boxes of HST and some .22LR ammo as it did when I ordered just two boxes of HST.
It costs more money to ship "ORM-D" packages (ordinance hazard) and has to be shipped UPS/FedEx. Cannot ship ammo through USPS legally.

According to Copes Distributing from over on AR15.com
" We got the same memo. We pulled all of our HST from the website. No more civilian sales of HST Ammo"

Apparently many places DIDNT get the memo or they ignored it as they should.
