Your model 67 is indeed a K frame. It is chambered for .38 special. You can feed it any .38 special you want too.A good carry ammo would be 158 grain semi wadcutter hollow point +p. Remington, Federal, and Winchester make it.

any good 38 sp ammo will work for your gun. if you are going to carry the gun i would use federal 147gr +p+ hydro-shok ammo. they now call it "federal tactical". it is good carry ammo for the 38sp whell gun.

    38 Special: Good SD ammo-

    Speer 135 grain Gold Dot
    CorBon 110 grain DPX
Winchester 158 grain +P lead hollow point
    MagTech Guardian Gold

Thanks for all the info guys. My carry is a .45, so I was just looking for info on target loads for the .38. I just got that gun and wasnt sure of the ammo I could use through it. It seems there are alot of opinions for this .38, some people say stay away from +p loads, some people say I can cause its a K-Frame. I just want to be sure before I blow my hand off!!!!!!!
