I can get the HST locally in 230gr +p for .45acp and 124gr 9mm standard pressure. About $30 per box of 20.
20 per box you ask? Yes. It's Federal HST ammo re-boxed and sold under a limited run in a gray box labeled Homeland Defender with a United States flag in the background of the box top. If you find any of that, it is 100% genuine Federal HST defense ammo. Same as you get in the LEO box, except it's marketed for civilians by Ellett Brothers. It's now out of production, but if anyone wants to know where to find it in south FL they can PM me and I'll give them the location of the shop that has it. I try to recommend it to anyone buying defense ammo, but most people don't know ballistics, and bullet weights etc. Any old stuff will do for them so they buy the cheaper Golden Sabers.

Just got two 50rnd boxes from ATG, 18.00 per box and delivered in just a few days. This is the first time I will try these in my Kahr, and I'll head to the range Saturday to test 'em out. Wife is out of town for a couple of weeks, might have to set up a cot at the range

I carry winchester sxt 147 gr. in my 9mm.The 147GR. will out penatrate better than all the other lighter loads in gel tests.I never used the honady in 9mm.But shot great out of my other guns.Very accurate,and great expantion as well!

What is ATG? I'm a noob looking for good SD ammo for my SA EMP 9mm.

I shot the 147gr HST but was pretty disappointed in the results. I'm no Annie Oakley, but at 7 yards I could not keep good groupings - even for me! At 10 yards I had trouble keep my rounds on the 8" target I was using. By comparison, I was also shooting my 3.5" Rock Island 1911 with 230 gr FMJ and shot 6-8" groups.
The 147gr HST just did not seem consistant. Didn't have these problems with 124gr HP ammo.
