A great bonded bullet that will not seperate, retains 100% weight and will reliably expand every time. Good enough for law enforcement, good enough for me.

Have 230 gr. GD in my PT 1911, and picked up a box of 200 gr. +P GD today.

Just ordered 2 boxes for my wife and here new Taurus PT-111 MP 9mm-->124gr+p GDHP's. Been reading alot through the forum and gathered the top 5 SD ammo for the 9mm that {U }the other members prefer. I began noticing all the ammo that I have listed as the top 5 are very hard to find in stock anywhere. Thank You Ammunition to Go.

I would have preferred the Fed HST's, but the GD was next on my list.

Sad that I had to order on-line, but I live in a small redneck town, and needless too say... After word got out---->Obama and his homies!!! Handguns and Ammo went fast. Our local WM and 2 FFL Dealers were sold out in 2 weeks. And they still haven't been restocked.
Even though I had too pay for shipping, I'm just glad I have some coming. Thanks to this forum and all of U and Ammunition to Go.
    Thank You all.

Well here is the e-mail that I received. I guess I will wait until the next business day, before I pass judgement on my order.

The comments for your order are

Thank you for your order. Due to an extremely high number of orders, your product will be shipped out within 9 - 12 working business days. We are sorry for the delay. You should receive a UPS tracking # through E-mail from UPS Quantum View when this order ships. If you do not receive this tracking # please check your spam blocker. Thanks again for your business.

Then again... Our CC permits has not arrived yet, as well as the night sites that I ordered for her PT-111 so I'm really not in dire need for the ammo yet.

I am currently working at a gun shop and the Gold Dot is our #1 selling make. That being said my personal favorite is the DPX from Corbon. It is the Barnes X solid copper hunting bullet and every report I have read has been excellent, talk about no core/jacket separation problems.

    SD ammo suggestion...

I just started doing something I've never read about anywhere and thought I would pass it along. With the high cost of quality SD ammo and the need to occationally actually field trial our SD round of choice I started first loading my mags with CCI or WWB and then loading the last 2 in the mag that will be carried with Speer Gold Dot or HSTs. Then the next time I'm out punching wholes in paper I will of course shoot them and then do the same reload when I'm done ready for carry.

I for some reason love the Golden Sabers bonded or unbonded. A couple of tests done with the bonded's in 9mm showed some pretty good results.
One more step and it's on!
