This is to me basically the same question as the one regarding Pow'rball ammo. I use both the Pow'rball and the Federal EPFMJ. I do this because as noted, they feed well, like FMJ rounds, and also because hollow points can get clogged by heavy clothing, preventing expansion. Both the EPMJ and the Pow'rball overcome this problem. Which I use depends only on what's available. I've bought a lot of the EPMG from Ammoman.com, as part of my supply. Unfortunately the site's out of both 9mm and 45.

    Thumbs up

I use the 124 gr +P in my early model Sig P6, because it doesn't play well with hollow points. It performs very well. It is not intended as a barrier penetrator, as a variety of LEO tests and actual shooting have proven (See Detroit PD tests on auto glass).
In the Sig it's very accurate and has done as well in my High Power. It's my stanard carrry ammo for the Sig P6.
