G26 Ammo help....Range and Carry.
I am getting ready to spend the mother load on ammo for my Glock 26. Looking for clean brass practice load recommendations, and loads for defense. It is getting very hard to find ammo so Ammunition To Go is where I plan to order, but other ideas appreciated.
I use to use WWB for practice rounds, but cannot find it locally. As for concealed carry, it was 9mm Federal LE 115gr. +P+ Hollow Point Ammo [9BPLE].
So update my choices for me, cause I will not be buying again for awhile!

You can also use Federal, CCI Blazer, Sellier & Bellot, Speer Lawman, Magtech, Fiocchi, all at ATG. They all feed thru my G19, XD & M&P.
Speer Gold Dot has a short barrel SD load that you could check out. SGDs seem to be the easiest to find these days.

Looking at Speer Gold Dot Handgun Ammunition 23611, 9 mm +P, Gold Dot Hollow Point, 124 GR, 1150 fps, 20 Rd/bx for $19.73 a 20rd/bx, but sounds high in price.

i have the g26 and use winchester white box for range. i wanted to use HST 124 +P for SD so i bought three 50rd boxes. when i used it at the range, during my second mag the grip plug would fall out. too much recoil. i have also heard many reviews and seen pics of the 124gr and when it mushrooms some of the petals break off. with the 147gr HST this isn't a factor. i plan to shoot all my HST 124 +P at the range and stock up on HST 124gr non +P for SD. hope this helps.

I cannot find HST. I have been told it is now truly for LE only. Ammo to Go does not list it anymore. Where are you getting it?

I was going to make a suggestion for HST if you were in that locale. But, in reality, good hollow point is good hollow point. The HST is GTG but so is Winchester Ranger, Gold Dot, Hornady etc. I like the 124gr +p in any of those flavors for the G26.
