Holy cow! I hope your houses never catch on fire. It'll be a total burn down, 'cause the fire dept. won't want to come near. Those safes will become like giant claymore mines and yes, I know that unsupported rounds going off individually lack much destructive power, but all that powder going off at once in a tightly sealed container is a bomb.
I need to start stocking up a bit more on handgun ammo. I did pick up a case of some Wolf 7.62x39 for my AK at the gun show last weekend.

I got one bullet. Maybe next year I will buy another one.

I've got about 1000 rounds of .38 Special loaded because that is what I have been shooting recently. I don't tend to count defensive ammo because I don't shoot it often (just a yearly qualifications), but I have a couple of hundred rounds in each chambering I carry.
I have the components to load a bunch more ammunition, but I haven't done it yet. I like to have about 1000 of each chambering loaded at a time and components for another thousand or two of each. I need to get on the stick I suppose.

I bought a lot of 9mm. I don't use it, but the wife does. I figure it times get tought, 9mm might hold value.
I have enough shotgun and 30.06.
Other then that, I've been caught with my pants down. I had enough 6 months ago, but did not replace the stash. Down to 100 or so .357 Sig (my fav round, had 1000). I guess I enjoy range time more then I though I would.
Now I really don't have the funds to go gunho (and am considering 1000 rounds of .40 S&W online along with the purchase of a .40 S&W barrel).
IMO, you should never have less than 100 rounds of your go to firearm, and I'm feeling exposed, because thats all I have. Lucky for me, the rareness of .357 Sig works for me a little, as you can still find a box here and there (and I know someone who has stashed away 2000 +).

some of the other forum guys have been saying that primers are in much shortage all over any feed backs on this ?
I had a lot of trouble finding Winchester Small Pistol primers online, couldn't find anyone that had any in stock as a matter of fact. A local bird hunting oriented gun shop had some, but I only had the cash to buy 1,000.

The reloading press has been pretty active lately. Couple of coffee cans of 9mm, and whatever .380 I can stumble upon at Wally World.
We did this several months ago...
IIRC I have around 4,000 rounds on hand. I won't go through the breakdown again right now.
